FANTEC AD-U3SA – USB 3.2 Gen 1 to SATA Adapter
The adapter quickly connects SATA drives to a computer via USB. You can directly attach 2.5" or 3.5" HDDs and SSDs as well as 5.25" Blu-ray/DVD/CD drives and access data immediately. For 2.5" drives, power is supplied via USB, so no separate power adapter is required.
Flexible connection options for drives The adapter supports SATA I, II, and III, making it suitable for both older and modern storage devices. 3.5" HDDs and 5.25" optical drives are powered via an additional 12V / 2A power supply (not included). The LED clearly indicates operation and data access, so the status is always visible.
Modern USB standard with broad compatibility The interface complies with the USB-IF designation USB 3.2 Gen 1 with speeds up to 5 Gbit/s. The adapter is backward-compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 and can be used with Windows, Mac OS, and Linux. Its compact design also makes it suitable for transport.
