FANTEC MR-SA1262-12G Backplane Module
This backplane allows space-saving installation of up to 6x 2.5" HDD or SSD in a single 5.25" bay. It supports both SAS and SATA drives and is suitable for systems where high data rates and a clear internal layout are important. Using drive trays, storage devices can be installed and replaced without tools.
Flexible interfaces for professional systems The backplane is compatible with SAS I, II and III up to 12G as well as SATA I, II and III up to 6G. This makes it suitable for existing controllers and modern server or workstation environments. For use with SAS 12G, miniSAS cables of type SFF-8643 are recommended (not included in the scope of delivery).
Robust design and controlled cooling The case, trays and front doors are made of metal and provide a solid construction. An integrated 40 mm fan on the rear supports heat dissipation during continuous operation. Status LEDs on the trays clearly indicate power status and data access.
