LEGO® Technic Lunar Outpost Moon Rover (42211)
Get ready for an adventurous moon mission with the LEGO® Technic Lunar Outpost Moon Rover (set 42211). Inspired by real-life concepts that will enable the next step in lunar exploration, this set offers young explorers aged 10 and up a technically challenging and imaginative play world. You can deploy your rover on the surface of the moon and set up your own “base”.
The heart of the set is the all-terrain lunar rover: it has 4-wheel steering and swing suspension to handle uneven terrain. It also features fold-out solar panels to simulate energy generation and a rotating gripper arm for depositing smaller units. The gripper arm can be used to release a prospecting rover that collects lunar regolith (moon rock) and then deposits it in a sample container.
But that s not all: the set also includes a MAPP rover (Mobile Autonomous Prospecting Platform). This small robot can be used independently or controlled to carry out further missions on the moon s surface. The LEGO® Builder app supports the building process – you can zoom in, rotate and track your progress in 3D mode.
