The Makita DDF490Z is a powerful and compact 18 V cordless drill with a brushless motor designed for demanding screwing and drilling work. With a maximum torque of 65 Nm, a 2-speed gearbox and 20 torque levels, it offers precise control and high efficiency. Thanks to its compact design, ergonomic soft grip and integrated LED work light, it is ideal for workshops, assembly and demanding DIY projects. The cordless drill has an engine brake for precise work, electronic speed control for optimal adaptation to the material and a 13 mm quick-release drill chuck for quick and tool-free replacement of drills and bits.
Engine brake: The drive is stopped immediately after releasing the switch. This increases occupational safety and enables precise screwing, especially with series screw connections or sensitive materials.
Electronics with control: The speed can be continuously regulated using the switch. This offers full control over speed and is ideal for different materials and applications – from slow turning to fast drilling.
The quick-release drill chuck (13 mm) enables drill bits and bits to be clamped and loosened by hand without tools. This saves time when changing tools and increases ease of use, especially for frequently changing applications.
This solo version comes without a battery or charger – perfect for anyone who is already part of the Makita LXT system.
