Automatic flash detection mode and automatic brightness mode
The Sea Dragon 3000 Auto s automatic flash detection mode turns the light off for one second when an external flash is detected. This ensures a well-lit photo and prevents shadows in your images. Auto flash detection can also be turned off if this feature is not desired.
Flexible brightness control
The brightness of the Sea Dragon 3000F (the "F" stands for Flood Beam) can be adjusted manually or automatically using the built-in light sensor. The auto brightness mode automatically adjusts the brightness between 300 and 3,000 lumens, depending on how close the subject is, to preserve the eye s natural night vision and extend battery life. Brightness can also be manually set to 100%, 50% or 25%.
Red LED for stealth mode
Two integrated red 180-lumen LEDs produce a light cone of 88°. At night, in caves or in the shade, the red LEDs maintain the natural function of your eyes in low light. This allows you to see your gauges and your surroundings, while at the same time the red LEDs do not scare fish, such as shy reef fish, which disappear in front of bright LED underwater lights. The red LEDs are strong enough to assist the camera s autofocus and turn off for 1 second when a strobe/flash is triggered.
Easily expandable
The Sea Dragon 3000F can be easily expanded with the SeaLife Flex Connect system of mounts, handles, arms and adapters. The 3000 can be connected to any underwater camera system via standard 1-20 tripods or GoPro camera mounts. Flex-Connect ball joint, YS and Cold Shoe mounts are available, making the Sea Dragon 3000 compatible with any underwater camera.
