Teac AD-850-SE in blackUSB flash drive recording and playback In addition to recording CDs, cassettes and external input devices onto USB flash drives (as MP3 files), CDs, MP3 files on USB flash drives and external input devices can also be recorded onto cassette tapes. Depending on the source (CD, LINE or TAPE), the recorded files are stored in automatically created folders on USB flash drives, allowing easy conversion from digital to analogue without a computer.Built-in microphone inputA microphone input jack is built into the front of the unit so you can record a connected microphone yourself. You can also mix in the microphone signal when playing and recording CDs, cassettes and USB sticks.1Echo effectThe sound of the connected microphone can be provided with an echo. With the switch on the front panel, you can set the effect to two levels or turn it off. With the AD-850-SE and a microphone, you can easily enjoy karaoke.2Explanation of the echoThis adds reverberation to the original sound. The original sound is repeated with different delays and attenuations to create an almost natural reverberation, similar to a hall or studio.Cassette deck has all important functionsThe cassette deck uses a two-head one-way design for recording and playback. It supports cassette tapes with normal, chrome and metallic (playback only) formulation/position. This model offers all major functions, including pitch control with a +/-10% adjustment range and timer recording and playback.CD player supports CD-R/RW discs and playback of MP3 filesIn addition to audio CDs, the CD player can also play CD-R/RW discs with MP3 files. During MP3 playback, information such as ID3 tags and file names* are displayed. Different playback modes include programme, shuffle and repeat (one track, all tracks or programme).3Extensive recording and playback functions for USB sticksThe repeat function can be used together with various other playback modes, e.g. continuous, random and programme.
