Craftsmanship meets modern forging
The Damasteel material is created by combining various powdered steels under vacuum and high pressure into a composite steel with around 120 layers. In the WMF blade forge, this steel is traditionally hand-forged and refined with the Performance Cut. The result is a knife that stands out both functionally and visually.
A knife with character
The Cromargan handle complements the blade visually and ensures balanced handling. The final acid etching reveals the individual layers of the steel, giving the knife its unique look. This Santoku knife is a one-of-a-kind piece that enhances your kitchen – both in use and appearance.

Tips for the care and storage of knives
It is best to clean the knife immediately after use with a damp cloth; especially after handling acidic foods, do not leave the knife uncleaned.
Do not use corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents.
Do not leave knives with wooden handles in water / do not clean them in the dishwasher.
Stone or ceramic cutting boards damage the knife blades and make them dull.
Do not store knives loose in drawers; knife blocks, magnetic strips, drawer inserts, magnetic boards or blade attachments are more suitable. Knife cases, knife bags or blade protectors can be used for safe transport.
